I’m a writer-reporter at Fortune, where I mainly cover sports business and tech, but also a wide range of other fun stuff, like media, books, beer, online dating, and white-collar crime. I’ve profiled people like Leigh Steinberg, Louis Freeh, and David Chang, and companies like Under Armour, Yelp and Anheuser-Busch InBev. And I help run our 40 Under 40 franchise.

I’m the primary author of Zooma book about young entrepreneurs. And I serve on the board of the Deadline Club.

I’ve also written for Sports Illustrated, Salon, Deadspin, NPR.org, The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, New York Daily News, The Daily Beast, The Awl, The Hairpin, The Morning News, The Millions, The Classical, Flavorpill, PopMatters, The Rumpus, Berfrois &more.

I went to college at Middlebury and grad school at Columbia.

Note: the opinions on my blog are mine alone.
