I spent 2+ years as the Editor in Chief of top crypto news site Decrypt, where I recruited a team of writers and editors, led news strategy, created and hosted the gm podcast, planned and emceed live events, and moderated panels at conferences around the world.
Before Decrypt, I spent 5+ years at Yahoo Finance, where I covered sports business and crypto, interviewed hundreds of execs and pro athletes, and hosted a daily live digital show, YFi: A.M.
Before Yahoo, I spent 5+ years at Fortune, where I wrote magazine profiles on companies like DraftKings, Adidas, Yelp, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and MasterCard, and people like Leigh Steinberg, Louis Freeh, Will.i.am, Dwayne Johnson, David Chang, George Foreman, Cal Ripken, and Gary Player. I also co-managed the 40 Under 40 franchise.
I’ve appeared on CNN, CBS, Fox Business, ESPN, Golf Channel, and BBC World News to talk about crypto or sports business news.
I’m the author of Zoom: Surprising Ways to Supercharge Your Career, a 2013 book about notable entrepreneurs who have made Fortune‘s 40 Under 40 list. I serve on the board of the Deadline Club and the Carnegie Fund for Authors.
